Really enjoy going to awenda Park for our annual family camping trips! Great beaches, great campgrounds and the washroom/showers are nice and clean. Worth the 2 hour drive to get there!

Underrated for trail running! Those celebrated cross-country skiing trails are perfect for easy-moderate trail running. The Bluff trail takes you in a complete 10k loop around the park and can be accessed from any campground. Signage along the trails is good and you won't need to consult any of the posted maps to stay on the right trail.

Great park for families. Awesome trails to hike and four beaches to use. Camp sites have a lot of space between each other and are filled with trees as long as you pick the non-electrical sites. Our dog loved the trails and the pet beach. Very quiet. Only complaint is the park police, very annoying coming over to your site (we barely were making any noise and they went to every site so it was not just us) at least three times a night and they have a number of rules - the most annoying one is that you can only have one car per site.

Nice, scenic shortcut to the Kettles Beach and Sawlog Bay areas of cottages on Champlain Road. Park roads could use some maintenance
